Dr Frank Sherratt was a pioneer in using computers to predict fatigue life in structures and engineering components. He and his colleague Turan Dirlik derived the widely used Dirlik Formula.

We are updating the original Dirlik Formula code used at Warwick University. It is currently in Excel as VBA code, as translated in 1993 from Fortran. We will be using Python in Jupyter NOTEBOOKS, EXCEL with Python (Beta) and a fully interactive Web Version using PANEL Python UI.
